From the top of the dam you can see the Kalabsha temple to the south and the huge power plants to the north.<\/p>\n<p><u style=\"\"><b>Unfinished Obelisk<br \/><\/b><\/u>stands in the granite quarries of Aswan, where much of the red granite used for the ancient temples and colossi came from. The Unfinished Obelisk is still in the place where it was extracted since it was abandoned when a crack was discovered in it.<\/p>\n<p>The <u><b>Temple of Philae<\/b><\/u> will be reached by boat since it is located on the island of Agilika. When the Aswan dam was built, the temple was under water and thanks to the sponsorship of Unesco it was dismantled, moved and rebuilt in its current location.
